Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam president C. Joseph Vijay, on Wednesday (April 15, 2026), termed the proposed delimitation exercise a biased move by the Union government.
In a post on X, Mr. Vijay said the Union government has proposed a significant change in the composition of the Lok Sabha through the Constitution (One Hundred and Thirty-First Amendment) Bill, 2026, which aims to increase the number of Members of Parliament in the Lower House from 543 to 850.
