Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Tuesday (April 14, 2026), held his last Cabinet meeting, ahead of his expected resignation.
Following the Cabinet meeting, which lasted 25 minutes, Mr Kumar headed towards his official residence 1, Anne Marg. Later, he is likely to go to Raj Bhawan, a few yards away, at 3.15 p.m. to tender his resignation from the post.
It was an emotional moment for all but Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was as usual in the Cabinet meeting, BJP leader and Cabinet minister Ram Kripal Yadav told media persons after the cabinet meeting.
JD(U) leader and Cabinet colleague Leshi Singh too echoed similar voices after the Cabinet meeting.
