- Wireman Instructor: 3 years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from recognized Polytechnic / Institution.
- Publicity Assistant-cum-Khasi Translator: (i) Graduate in Mass Communication + knowledge of Khasi and Jaintia language (ii) Knowledge & experience in Computer/IT.
- Investigator: H.S.S.L.C. or equivalent with Mathematics / Statistics / Economics as one of the subjects.

- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 32 years
- Age relaxation applicable as per rules: SC/ST: +5 years; Regular Government employees: No age bar (if entered service within prescribed age limit); PWD Group C & D: +10 years (+15 years for ST/SC); Group A & B open competitive: +10 years (+15 for ST/SC); Group A & B non-competitive: +5 years (+10 for ST/SC).
