Vacancies have been announced under JTGLCCE-2026 for the following 10 posts. Additionally, Advertisement No. 02/2026 covers 4 backlog vacancies for reserved categories; eligible candidates can apply for both advertisements simultaneously with a single exam fee.
Note: Vacancy numbers are as per the official notification and may be revised. 64 horizontal reservations exist for PwD candidates across categories.

Candidates must fulfill all eligibility conditions as on the last date of online submission of applications (30-06-2026). Admission to examination is purely provisional. The minimum educational qualification must be possessed by the last date of online application.

Age will be calculated as on 01-08-2025. The minimum age limit is 21 years for all posts. Age relaxation is applicable as per Jharkhand Government rules.
Note: Only one of PwD or Ex-Servicemen age relaxation will be applicable. Age limit for Junior Scientific Assistant post (Sr. No. 8) is determined based on date of first appointment in service.

Candidates must pay the examination fee through online mode only. The fee is non-refundable.
Note: Candidates from Jharkhand’s SC/ST category who apply under another category at concessional rate may have their application cancelled.
Jharkhand JSSC JTGLCCE Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
The selection process for JSSC JTGLCCE-2026 consists of two stages of Computer Based Test (CBT). The exam will be conducted in OMR/CBT mode. If candidates appearing are fewer than 50,000, the Preliminary Exam may be skipped and the Main Exam conducted directly.

Main Examination The Main Exam consists of 3 Papers:
Merit List: Final merit list is prepared based on combined normalised marks of Paper-2 and Paper-3 of the Main Exam. In case of a tie, preference is given to the older candidate; if DOB is also the same, the candidate with higher marks in the qualifying technical degree/exam is ranked higher.

Applications must be submitted through online mode at https://jssc.jharkhand.gov.in/ only. No hard copy of the application or documents should be sent to the JSSC office. Candidates should not wait until the last date and must submit applications well in advance.
Step-by-Step Process:
- Visit https://jssc.jharkhand.gov.in/ and log in to apply online.
- Read the notification/brochure carefully before filling the form.
- Keep scanned copies of your photograph, full signature and all required documents ready before filling the form.
- Fill in details as per your Matriculation/10th certificate (name spelling must match exactly).
- Pay the examination fee online; select JTGLCCE-2026 under Select Payment Category and enter your Registration Number.
- The Admit Card will be uploaded on the JSSC website; it will not be sent by post. Candidates must download it themselves.
- All examination-related announcements will be made on the JSSC website only.

Important Instructions for Jharkhand JSSC JTGLCCE 2026 Candidates
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.
- Admission to the exam is purely provisional. Issuance of Admit Card does not confirm eligibility; JSSC will verify certificates after the main exam.
- Mobile phones, pagers, Bluetooth devices or any electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited inside the examination centre; candidature will be cancelled if found.
- Candidates debarred by UPSC / JPSC / JSSC or any other selection commission within the specified period are not eligible to appear.
- A re-evaluation fee of Rs. 500/- can be applied within 7 days of result declaration.
- If mass copying is reported and proved at a centre, JSSC reserves the right to cancel the entire exam at that centre.
- Candidates currently employed in Govt./PSU/Autonomous bodies need not submit NOC at application stage but must produce a proper relieving order at the time of joining.
- The correction window (05-07-2026 to 10-07-2026) allows changes to all fields except Name, Date of Birth, Email ID and Mobile Number. If a category is changed (e.g. from reserved to unreserved), the difference in exam fee must be paid.
- Candidates applying for both Advertisement No. 01/2026 and 02/2026 need to pay only one exam fee.
- Candidates applying under Sports Quota must note the eligible standards as per Resolution No. 1709, dated 12.09.2007, available on the JSSC website.
- All selections, notices and merit lists will be published only on the JSSC official website. Candidates are advised to check regularly.
- Any dispute regarding the recruitment will be settled within the jurisdiction of Ranchi only.
