A senior Iranian military officer said on Saturday (May 2, 2026) that renewed fighting between the U.S. and Iran was “likely”, hours after President Donald Trump said he was “not satisfied” with a new Iranian negotiating proposal.
Iran delivered the draft to mediator Pakistan on Thursday (April 30, 2026) evening, state media reported without detailing its contents.
