The new body of office-bearers of Hubballi-Dharwad Centre of Indian Concrete Institute(ICI) plans to conduct various programmes in the coming days on introducing the latest developments in concrete technology to professionals and also to create awareness among the general public.
Addressing the press in Hubballi on Friday (April 17), Suresh Kiresur, newly elected president of the Hubballi Dharwad Centre of ICI, said that the concrete, being a composite material, is an integral part of construction. Using the proper concrete mix is important for ensuring strength and longevity of the structure, he explained.
