WBJEE 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to pass Class 12 with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry/Biology. Minimum 45% aggregate marks (40% for SC/ST/OBC). Born on or after January 1, 2008 (18+ by December 31, 2026).

Domicile isn’t required for general seats, but reserved categories get state benefits. JEE Main scores may supplement in some cases.​

Age and Academic Requirements

Upper age relaxations apply for SC/ST/OBC/PwD. English must be a Class 12 subject.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Click “New Registration” on the portal.

2. Enter name, DOB, email, mobile, and set password.

3. Verify with OTP sent to email/mobile.

4. Fill academic and personal details.

5. Upload photo (20-300KB JPG) and signature.

6. Pay fee and submit; download receipt.

WBJEE 2026 Exam Pattern and Syllabus

Paper 1 (Math): 2 hours, 100 marks. Paper 2 (Physics/Chemistry): 2 hours, 100 marks. MCQs in three categories with partial/negative marking. Syllabus: Class 11-12 topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics.

Focus on high-weightage chapters like Calculus, Mechanics. Total 200 marks determine rank.​
