Educational Qualification:
- MD / Diploma / DNB Degree in the relevant specialty
- MBBS degree
- Permanent Registration with MCI / State Medical Council / National Medical Council
Other Conditions:
- Candidates selected under NHM shall not be permitted to engage in private practice; violation will lead to immediate termination
- Selected candidates must join within 30 days from the issue of offer letter
- Once joined, candidate must serve at least 2 months; 1 month notice is required in case of resignation
- Posts are reserved category-wise as per Haryana Government Reservation policy
NHM Haryana Specialist Recruitment 2026 – Salary / Pay Scale
The existing NHM salary structure shall be applicable to these posts. Salaries will be revised from time to time as per Government instructions. All posts are contractual in nature and the contract shall be renewed every year based on performance and NHM Haryana norms.

NHM Haryana Specialist Recruitment 2026 – Selection Process
The selection process consists of the following stages:
Stage 1 – Video Conferencing (VC) Interview: Eligible candidates will be called for an interview conducted every Wednesday from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM via Video Conferencing. Candidates must indicate their preference for three districts on the portal at least one day before the scheduled VC. Specialty-wise slots will be displayed on the NHM website on the day of the interview.
Stage 2 – Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must report to the office of the concerned Civil Surgeon every Thursday between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM for document verification and completion of the final selection process.
Stage 3 – Medical Fitness & Character Verification: Final selection is subject to the candidate proving their medical fitness and verification of character and antecedents.
The decision of the Selection Committee will be final on all aspects of selection and no further correspondence will be entertained.

Step 5 – Appear for the Video Conferencing interview on the scheduled Wednesday slot.
