  • Educational Qualification: Project Scientific Assistant‑B – Full‑time B.Sc./B.S. (Science/ Mathematics/ Physics/ Electronics/ Astronomy or relevant) with at least 60% marks; Project Assistant – Graduate with at least 50% marks; Project Tradesman‑B – NTC/NAC in relevant trade (Fitter/Electrician/Electronics) with experience; Project Work Assistant – SSC or equivalent with experience; Clerk Trainee – Graduate with computer and typing knowledge; Technical Trainee (Civil) – Diploma in Civil Engineering; Tradesman Trainee (Carpenter/Plumber) – ITI (NTC) with minimum 60% marks in respective trade.
  • Age Limit: Maximum 28 years for most posts and 31 years for OBC Project Scientific Assistant‑B as on 01/01/2026. Relaxations apply as per Government of India norms for reserved categories as mentioned in the notification.

The selection process for HBCSE TIFR Project & Trainee posts will be conducted through walk‑in selection which may consist of a written test, skill test and/or interview as decided by HBCSE.
