- Educational Qualification & Apprenticeship:
- Graduate (B.E./B.Tech.) or Diploma in Chemical Engineering + Apprenticeship in manufacturing/handling of ammunition and explosives (Ordnance Factory preferred).
- OR B.Sc. Graduate with Chemistry as one of the major subjects + Apprenticeship in manufacturing/handling of ammunition and explosives.
- OR Graduate (B.E./B.Tech.) or Diploma in Chemical Engineering + Apprenticeship in Chemical (other than ammunition/explosives).
- Age Limit: Maximum 30 years for General candidates as on the last date of receipt of application. Age relaxation: 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC (NCL), Ex-Servicemen as per rules.

- Selected candidates will be engaged on contract basis with the following consolidated remuneration:
- 1st year: Rs. 36,000/-
- 2nd year: Rs. 37,080/-
