HP PAT 2026: Registration for Polytechnic Admission Test Open
HP PAT Application Form 2026 has been released online by the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala, and candidates can submit the form through the official website, www.hptechboard.com, from 01 April 2026 to 05 May 2026. The application process is completely online, while the entrance exam will be held in offline mode on 17 May 2026 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM for admission to diploma courses in Himachal Pradesh polytechnic institutes.
Candidates who have passed Class 10th with at least 35% marks, or those appearing in the qualifying exam, can apply for HP PAT 2026 as per the prospectus. To complete the application, applicants need to register online, fill in personal and academic details, upload photograph and signature, and pay the required application fee through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.

The HP PAT 2026 notification has been released through the official PAT-2026 prospectus issued by the H.P. Takniki Shiksha Board. HP PAT 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for HP PAT 2026 must have passed Class 10th or its equivalent examination with at least 35% marks from a recognized Board or University as prescribed by AICTE/COA. Applicants who are appearing in matriculation in 2026 are also eligible to appear provisionally, but their final eligibility will be verified during counselling.
- Candidate must have passed 10th standard with minimum 35% marks.
- The qualifying examination should be from a recognized Board/University or equivalent.
- Appearing candidates can also apply provisionally.
- Reserved category benefits are mainly applicable to bonafide Himachali candidates as per rules.
HP PAT 2026 Application Fees
The HP PAT 2026 application fee must be paid online through the admission portal. The fee amount differs according to the candidate’s category.
Candidates can pay the fee through debit card, credit card, internet banking, or UPI on the online admission portal.
HP PAT 2026 Application Form Date
The HP PAT Application Form 2026 is available from 01 April 2026 and the last date to submit the online form with fee payment is 05 May 2026 up to 12:00 midnight. Candidates should complete the form well before the deadline to avoid last-minute technical issues.

The HP PAT 2026 application process is completely online. Candidates need to visit the official website, register on the Eakadamik portal, fill in the application form, upload documents, and complete the online fee payment.
How to Apply for HP PAT 2026 Online
The HP PAT Application Form 2026 can be filled only through the online Eakadamik portal linked from the Board’s website. The process includes new user registration, login, form filling, document upload and online fee payment.
- Visit the official website: www.hptechboard.com.
- Click on “Online Admission-2026”.
- Select “Registration for Polytechnic Admission in Diploma in Engineering – PAT (1st Year)”.
- Open the Eakadamik portal and click on “New User Registration”.
- Fill in the registration details and submit the form.
- Receive login credentials and registration number through SMS/email.
- Login to the portal and complete the application form.
- Enter personal, category, domicile, address, and academic details.
- Upload photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Accept the terms and conditions and proceed to payment.
- Pay the application fee online through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
- After successful payment, download and print the submitted application form.

HP PAT 2026 Exam Pattern
HP PAT 2026 will be conducted through a single objective-type question paper of 3 hours duration. The paper will include questions from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English.
- All questions will be objective type.
- Each correct answer carries 4 marks.
- 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- The exam will be held in OMR format.
- Maths, Physics, and Chemistry portions will be available in English and Hindi.
HP PAT 2026 Exam Date
HP PAT 2026 exam will be conducted on 17 May 2026 (Sunday). The examination timing will be from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and the duration of the paper will be 3 hours.
Roll numbers will be available on the Board website from 11 May 2026 onwards, and candidates must download the admit card online because it will not be sent by post. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the exam without a valid admit card.
