Age Limit
SECL Fresher Apprentice Educational Qualification 2026
- Candidates must have passed 10th / 11th grade as per the requirement of the relevant trade for Fresher Apprentices.
- Candidates should not be pursuing or have completed Apprenticeship Training in any other establishment in the same trade.
- Qualifications must be from Government-recognised institutions only.
SECL Fresher Apprentice Selection Process 2026
- Shortlisting based on % of marks obtained in qualifying examination (10th/11th) as per Government Reservation Policy and merit basis uploaded on Apprenticeship Portal.
- Tie-breaker: If % of marks are equal, the elder candidate gets preference.
- Provisional selection list uploaded on SECL website: secl-cil.in → SECL Departments → Human Resource → HRD → Apprentice.
- Document Verification + Medical Fitness Examination as per Apprenticeship Rules 1992 / Mines Rules 1955 (for Assistant Mine Surveyor).
SECL Fresher Apprentice Stipend 2026
- ₹8,200 per month as per present rate of stipend under NAPS scheme.
- Paid after successful medical fitness and document verification.

- Click “Login/Register” tab → Candidate → Register as Candidate
- Enter mobile number → Enter email ID → Click Register
- Activation link will be sent to registered email ID → Activate → Login
- Complete your profile entering relevant information and upload required documents
- After registration, login → Click Establishment Search → Enter South Eastern Coalfields Limited
- Enter relevant data and click ‘Submit’ to make your online application
- Ensure all details match your certificates exactly (Name, Father’s name, Aadhaar number)
- Take printout of submitted application for future reference
Important Instructions
- Only applications received through Apprenticeship Portal from 17.03.2026 to 31.03.2026 till 12:00 Midnight will be entertained.
- All details in the portal must match certificates exactly — Name, Father’s name, Aadhaar number.
- Candidates should not have undergone apprenticeship training earlier in the same trade.
- Medical Fitness Certificate must be issued after the date of this notification by a Government hospital Medical Officer not below the rank of Assistant Civil Surgeon.
- OBC certificate must be issued on or after 01.04.2025 only.
- Notarized Affidavit must be on Rs. 10 stamp paper in prescribed format.
- Selected candidates will NOT be absorbed in any regular employment in SECL.
- No TA/DA or accommodation will be provided for document verification, medical examination or training.
- SECL reserves the right to increase/decrease seats or cancel the entire process without notice.
- Jurisdiction: Bilaspur Court only for any disputes.
