RSSB Senior & Basic Computer Instructor Recruitment 2026 – 3951 Posts

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB), Jaipur has released Advertisement No. 07/2026 for direct recruitment of 3951 Computer Instructor posts – 322 Senior Computer Instructor (Pay Level-10) and 3629 Basic Computer Instructor (Pay Level-8) – under the Secondary Education and Sanskrit Education Departments. Online applications open from 25 May 2026 and close on 23 June 2026 at 11:59 PM via the SSO Recruitment Portal. Candidates aged 18-40 years (as on 01-01-2027) with relevant PG/UG degree in Computer Science or allied fields are eligible. The Computer Based Test (CBT) is scheduled for 22 August 2026 (Senior) and 23 August 2026 (Basic).

Important: For Secondary Education Department posts only, an additional 3 years’ relaxation is applicable as no recruitment was held after 2022. This does not apply to Sanskrit Education posts. All age relaxations are non-cumulative.

What is the Application Fee?

Note: The OTR fee is non-refundable but is a one-time registration valid for all future RSSB and RSLDC recruitments. Candidates from outside Rajasthan are treated as General category regardless of caste – they must pay ₹600. Candidates who have already paid OTR fee need not pay again.

What is the Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme?

Both posts have a CBT (Computer Based Test) of 200 marks with 2 papers of 100 marks each. Paper I is common for both posts. Paper II differs by post level.

Probation Period: 2 years. During probation, fixed remuneration is paid – no regular pay scale, DA, HRA, or TA. After satisfactory completion and confirmation, full pay scale with DA, HRA, TA, NPS, GPF, Gratuity, LTC, and Medical Benefits become applicable.

  • After OTR, log in to SSO and go to Citizen Apps (G2C) → Recruitment Portal.

Important Instructions

  • Applications are online only – no offline applications accepted under any circumstances.
  • OBC certificate must be based on father’s name, residence, and income. Husband-based OBC certificates are not valid.
  • EWS income & asset certificate is valid for 1 year from date of issue (extendable up to 3 years with affidavit).
  • Caste certificates issued by non-competent authorities will be rejected at the document verification stage.
  • Name, father’s name, date of birth, photo, signature, and thumb impression cannot be changed even in the correction window.
  • Candidates failing to appear in two or more RSSB exams in a financial year may have their OTR blocked.
  • Use of unfair means will lead to debarment and criminal proceedings under the Rajasthan Public Examination (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2022.
  • Any false information will lead to disqualification and potential legal action under IPC Section 217.
  • No TA/DA is payable for attending the CBT exam or document verification.
