Russian drones, missiles kill five at Ukraine’s Naftogaz gas production plants, CEO says

Russian ​drones and ‌missiles attacked gas ​production ⁠facilities run by Ukraine’s ‌state energy ‌company Naftogaz ‌in ⁠Poltava and ⁠Kharkiv regions, killing three ​employees and ‌two rescue workers, the company’s ‌chief executive ​said on Tuesday (May 5, 2026).

The facilities ⁠were significantly damaged ‌and production was lost, CEO Serhiy Koretskyi ‌said.
